Top definition. When someone, preferably a male, farts the most rancid and burning fart into a woman's vagina before or after sexual intercourse. Sometimes the mixture of seamen and fart can cause massive confusion in the woman that will lead her to kick you swiftly in the groin.
If a sparrow tried to mate with a fighter jet, that would fairly describe the kamikaze sex life of a bizarre seafaring octopus. Among the rarely encountered blanket octopus Tremoctopus violaceusfemales outweigh males by up to 40, times. During a night dive in deep water off the northern Great Barrier Reef, zoologist Mark Norman of Museum Victoria in Melbourne and his colleagues had what they say is scientists' first-ever encounter with a live male blanket octopus.

Rhabditis sp. SB is a species of nematode that produce only five percent male offspring. The kaleidosexual reproductive tactics of Rhabditis and other nematodes pose a number of interesting scientific questions, from the evolutionary implications down to the cellular level. In their paper, Shakes and her collaborators reported on unusual development during spermatogenesis in the worms.
By Larry Getlen. On one episode of the show, Wesley had his scrotum — it weighs pounds — examined by a Dr. They are sensitive.
Aleksandr Andreas Wansbrough does not work for, consult, own shares in or receive funding from any company or organisation that would benefit from this article, and has disclosed no relevant affiliations beyond their academic appointment. While Labeouf supposedly leapt at the opportunity to bare all, one can imagine feeling uncomfortable at such a request. The reality of sex on screen makes many people feel awkward and uncomfortable, and not merely the actors.

Haploid cells, which contain one copy of each chromosome, should not undergo further reduction of their chromosome number through a type of cell division called meiosis. To prevent such a catastrophic event, haploids block the production of a protein called IME4, which triggers meiosis, by expressing antisense IME4.
Is sex a product of genes, the environment, or both? In this review, we describe the diversity of sex-determining mechanisms in reptiles, with a focus on systems that display gene-environment interactions. We summarise the field and laboratory-based evidence for the occurrence of environmental sex reversal in reptiles and ask whether this is a widespread evolutionary mechanism affecting the evolution of sex chromosomes and speciation in vertebrates. Sex determination systems exist across a continuum of genetic and environmental influences, blurring the lines between what was once considered a strict dichotomy between genetic sex determination and temperature-dependent sex determination.
